One of those Gotchas! Not selecting at the node level must be the problem. I "experimented with "All" versions of inkscape and the various extensions available(dxf, Better dxf, Better, Better dxf, BigBlue dxf.all went into the extensions folder of inkscape as directed. Some loaded with content in the file ie (35mb for instance), some showed "0" bites, no content. I couldn't save them as CB files for some alterations. Looking for them with "select all" and changing background colors and zooming around, didn't bring them up. I started this whole thing because when I loaded "switcher's " dxf into CamBam, they did not load ,as is.

That must be the issue because, some of the dxf files were empty after saving to dxf. No, I was not getting "nodes" while saving inkscape to dxf. 048 version and attempted to save the their *dxf12 options and CamBam no luck. I ' not getting something correct here, anyone using these extensions in Inkscape with CamBam? Inkscape is not cooperating.maybe it's vista.I een saved Inkscape files to PDf and used a pdf to dxf converter and tried to load the dxfs to CamBam. I'm using a laptop with vista as my operating system to do my drawing in Inkscape and CamBam, but as You can see, I went back over the directions in the various extensions for dxf, (switcher), dxf, Better dxf, and Better Better dxf including Big Blue Dxf no results. Sometimes the file would show that it was not blank but had some bits but most of the time the files were "0" in the DXF files. In Cambam I tried Scrolling and selecting all, to see if that action would reveal an image.

Sometimes I exploded the line drawing before saving to BigBlue DXF "selected All", un grouped and object to path. I forgot to mention that with each version of inkscape I "drew" a rectangle and with no fill, 047 again and tried the BIG Blue Saw in the Inkscape extensions folder as directed. I uninstalled Inkscape, looked for leftover files after the uninstall and found none. Still got DXF files that CamBam could not load I installed better better dxf from Bob Cook's site:

    #Inkscape dxf install

047 deleted personal settings so the install would be fresh and clean I un-grouped, used object to path after selecting all before saving as dxf 12 No luck! 046 with switcher's DXF extension no luck, blank file in CamBam I'm using the latest stable version of CamBam (registered) for my camsoftware. I hope I'm in the right part of the forum for these questions.
